On April 22, 2017 at 8:00pm, Steve Coleman and Five Elements will perform in a free concert at the Coolidge Auditorium – Thomas Jefferson Building 10 First Street SE, Washington, DC. Steve will perform a new work commissioned by the Library of Congress,as part of the “Concerts from the Library of Congress” series, with support from the Reva & David Logan Foundation.

On July 9, 2017 at 3:15pm, Steve Coleman and The Council of Balance will perform at the Northsea Jazz Festival in Rotterdam, Netherlands (on the Madeira stage).
This large ensemble, which is featured on the recording Synovial Joints, does not frequently perform in Europe, so be sure to catch this rare performance.

From December 1 through December 15, 2017, Steve Coleman and Five Elements will present a residency in Los Angeles. The primary location of activities will be the Blue Whale in downtown Los Angeles.

There will be frequent performances and at the Blue Whale, and also other locations in the Los Angeles area. There will also be outreach activities mostly done in the Southern California area.
Steve Coleman and Five Elements will perform 6 nights a week at The Blue Whale.
